Normcore 58mm Adjustable-Flow Tea Extraction Basket

Pressure extraction makes tea faster. Adjustable flow makes it more controllable.

The Normcore 58mm Adjustable-Flow Tea Extraction Basket combines the pressure of an espresso machine with a built-in flow-control system, giving you an additional way to manage tea extraction directly from the basket.

Unlike fixed-flow tea extraction systems, Normcore allows you to adjust how quickly water passes through the tea. This provides greater control over contact time, extraction strength, beverage volume, and concentration.

From delicate teas to concentrated milk-tea bases, one basket gives you the flexibility to develop different recipes using the espresso machine and compatible 58mm portafilter you already own.

WHY FLOW CONTROL MATTERS

Different teas do not extract in the same way.

Leaf size, tea type, dose, water temperature, and brewing time can all affect the final cup. A fixed-flow basket limits how much control you have over these variables.

The Normcore adjustable-flow system adds another level of control, allowing you to refine the extraction for different teas, recipes, and serving styles.

Adjust the flow to create:
• Lighter, cleaner tea infusions
• Fuller and more aromatic extractions
• Concentrated tea shots
• Milk-tea and tea-latte bases
• Customized café tea recipes

PRESSURE EXTRACTION, REFINED

Traditional tea preparation relies on passive steeping in hot water for several minutes.

The Normcore Tea Extraction Basket uses the heat and pressure of an espresso machine to produce tea in a shorter extraction cycle. The adjustable outlet then lets you fine-tune the flow instead of relying only on dose, temperature, and brewing time.

This combines the speed of pressure extraction with the control needed for different tea styles.

USE YOUR EXISTING 58MM PORTAFILTER

There is no need to purchase another complete tea portafilter.

Simply remove the coffee basket from a compatible 58mm portafilter and insert the Normcore Tea Extraction Basket. Continue using your existing portafilter body, handle, and espresso machine.

Please verify the internal diameter, basket depth, and retaining-spring configuration of your portafilter before purchase.

HOW TO USE
1. Insert the basket into a compatible 58mm portafilter.
2. Add prepared tea leaves—do not tamp firmly.
3. Use the included adjustment wrench to set the flow.
4. Remove the wrench, then start extraction.
5. Allow to cool and rinse thoroughly after use.
